Generic Name: Piperacillin sodium

Pipracil is an antibiotic approved for the treatment of E. Coli, urinary tract infections, endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, bone and joint infections, lower respiratory infections and bacterial infections of the skin. Pipracil is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to any of the betalactams, including penicillins and/or cephalosporins, because the same reactions may occur with ingestion of Pipracil.
